The growing popularity of IoT devices is providing a boost to the pet technology market as it simplifies the process of collecting pets' vital signs and location details.IoT communications primarily connect pet tech devices with smartphones, tablets, and laptops.It sends vital data to a central server via wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and wireless local area network (WLAN) and makes this information available to pet owners through interactive dashboards and reports.
Currently, the smart dog tag using Apple's Find My has been launched. What differentiates YIP Smart Tag from traditional dog tags is its intelligent function.The Tag integrates with Apple's Find My network, which means you can track your pet through the Find My app on your iPhone or iPad.This also means that YIP Smart Tag can tap into the vast Find My network, so its location is updated whenever it gets closer to an iPhone user.
Find My Workflow
1. After using the Find My app to connect with a Find My peripheral, they negotiate a pair of secret keys.Find My app holds private and public keys; peripherals hold public keys.
2. As a BLE beacon, the peripheral device continuously broadcasts a changing secret key (derived from the public key).
3. After the surrounding Apple devices (iPad, iPhone, etc., which can be other people's devices) detect this broadcast, they will combine the secret key inside with their own positioning data, package and upload to the Apple server.
4. Find My app gets these positioning reports from the server and parses the relevant positioning data.

In the future, Find My will become an independent network, and the addition of third-party devices will enrich the territory of Find My Network.Find My Network will provide third-party interfaces to provide better services.User privacy will not be compromised, and neither Apple nor third parties will know the exact location of the phone except the user.Apple's Find My technology uses the Bluetooth wireless signal of Apple devices to create a network of devices to find lost items, and they will work with third-party companies to create Find My Network anti-lost products.
