New User Plane Design and Key Technologies in the 6G Era

【Abstract】As the new requirements, new scenarios and new services in the 6G era are gradually becoming clear, the industry hopes that the future network architecture can be innovated to better adapt to social development.In order to realize the system features such as flexibility, generalization, and customization of the future network architecture, using concepts such as componentization, flexible orchestration, decoupling, and vectorization, as well as intelligent methods, the user plane has been reconstructed and redesigned. The proposedNon-stack new user plane architecture solution and corresponding key technical features.The non-stack new user plane architecture design can realize on-demand customization and flexible arrangement and deployment of network functions, build on-site adaptive and flexible networks, and support network grayscale iterative evolution.

0 Introduction
In recent years, 5G commercialization in various countries has accelerated, and China's 5G has also entered a critical period of large-scale commercialization.At the same time, the formulation of 5G standards has also entered the final stage.After experiencing the pain of digital transformation, 5G services have brought dazzling performance returns to operators.It is worth noting that in the process of 5G empowering thousands of industries, the industry ecology (referred to as the format) is also quietly changing.The toC (to Consumer, consumer-oriented) consumer market is gradually saturated, and the entire communications industry chain is exploring new growth points in the digital economy [1] and thinking about how to use new technologies to enhance core competitiveness.It has become the common voice of the industry to reduce the investment return period and enter a wider industry field.With the enhancement of technologies such as "private network" and "end-to-end network slicing" [2], the communications industry is expected to evolve from capital expenditure-driven to application-demand-driven, and will present a new form of blooming and a hundred schools of thought contending.In the future, business needs to be customized, agile, and innovated quickly, and a more flexible and general protocol stack architecture is required.However, it should be noted that the wireless communication protocol stack has always adopted a vertical, chimney-like layered architecture.
