DSPACE Use of simulation platform

We use DSPACE Simulation platform software to simulate the automatic driving of cars .

A total of DSPACE Three software under the general category ：ModelDesk、ControlDesk、MotionDesk.

1.ModelDesk New projects

Click... On the desktop ModelDesk Icon , open DSPACE—ModelDesk

choice File label , Sidebar selection New, Click on New ASM Project.

Project type （ASM Project Type） choice Traffic. The target path （Target directory） Customize the path you want , And remember this path , The next step is useful . Target platform （Target Platform） choice VEOS.

Wait patiently for half a minute , After the successful establishment of the project, the following .

2.MotionDesk Introduce projects

Click on MotionDesk Icon , open DSPACE—MotionDesk.

choice File label , Sidebar selection Open, Click on Open Project and Experiment

Select the path of the project created in the previous step , For example, mine is E:\dspace\Traffic_test. Click the plus sign in the column below to expand , choice ASMTraffic.

Wait patiently for half a minute , After the successful introduction of the project, you can see a car on the road .

3.ControlDesk Introduce projects

ControlDesk The introduction and MotionDesk Exactly the same as , But after its introduction, it is better than MotionDesk Two more steps to configure .

similarly , We turn on DSPACE—ControlDesk.

choice File label , Sidebar selection Open, Click on Open Project and Experiment

Or choose the project path , Select... In the column below Experiment_001.

After the successful introduction of the project, the following .

First step , We are on the left Project Tab Hardware Configuration. Right click , choice Add Platform/Device .

Platform Type choice VEOS, Click on next.

Click on Import from file, Directly select... In the pop-up window ASM_Traffic.sdf.

The second step , Still on the left Project Tab , Double-click to open dashboard.lay file , A car dashboard will appear on the right .

4. Project integration and operation

We are ControlDesk In the menu bar , Click on Go online.

stay MotionDesk in ,Home In the menu bar Sources The default is Network:UDP:Connection, We choose it as VEOS:UDP:Connection. And then click Go online.

We go back to ModelDesk in , On the left side. Project Tab , Double-click to open Experiment_001, In the middle, you will see a configuration page Configuration Page, Then click... On the right Download All Button .

The purpose of this step is to ModelDesk All parameters set in are passed to MotionDesk and ControlDesk in , The three can work together .

Last , We are ModelDesk Of Home Under the menu bar , Click on Start, A simple DSPACE The project started running .

We can do it in MotionDesk I saw that the speed on the dashboard began to increase ,ControlDesk The car in the began to move .

If you want to end the project run , stay ModelDesk Click on the Stop , stay MotionDesk、ControlDesk Click on the Go offline that will do .
