Everyone has heard of many open source celebrities, such as the father of Java, the father of Linux, and the father of Python, but everyone knows that there is someone whose nickname is the Queen of Open Source, you know thisWho is the Queen of Open Source?

She is Ms. Danese Cooper.

As you can see this is Ms. Danese Cooper, who likes to wear hats and is a well-known open source activist.She used to be the open source lead at Sun Microsystems, and she was the one who single-handedly open-sourced Java.She has also been a director of OSI, CTO of Wikipedia, and head of open source at Paypal.

I've heard her share a lot that she considers herself a Change Agency.The so-called Change Agency is the person who makes the change happen.It was also very difficult for her to promote open source at Sun Microsystem. Her VP and department heads tried to fire her several times, but she had extraordinary determination and courage, and finally promoted the open source of Java, OpenSolaris, OpenOffice, etc.
