View browser version

• selenium To use the chromedriver driver, the version must be correct
• Enter chrome://version
in your browser's navigation bar
• You can see that the current browser version is 98.0.4758.82

Download driver

• Driver download address: http://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/index.html
• Find the folder of the corresponding version to enter, click on your own system to download
• It contains multiple versions of drivers for linux, mac, windows
• If you are using the mac version, select mac, where m1 represents the M1 chipThe version of mac, if you are windows, just download win32

Install driver

• After decompression, put it in the specified directory, if there is an old version, just overwrite it
• mac installation directory: /usr/local/bin
• windwos installation directory: python installation directory/Scripts/

Is the installation successful

• Run directly in the black window: chromedriver --version, see if the version corresponds to it
• Or write a simple automated test code: webdriver.Chrome().get(url), check if it works normally
