Wifi 6 (formerly known as IEEE 802.11.ax) is the sixth generation of wireless network technology and the name of the Wifi standard. Wifi alliance is a wireless LAN technology based on IEEE 802.11 standard. Wifi 6 will allow communication with up to eight devices at a maximum rate of 9.6Gbps.
